This set includes needle tips in sizes 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 7 and 8. The 3.5 doesn't equate exactly to any old size - it comes between a 10 and a 9. The remainder are 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 2, and 0). The cables are in 40cms (24") 60cms (32"), 80cms (40") and 100cms (47") lengths. There are 8 end caps and 4 cable tightening keys all packed into a pocketed vinyl pouch with a separate pouch for the cables.

TIPS and CABLES.
The tips are the pointed ends of the needles. The cables provide the length.The system enables you to have different sizes of needles in different lengths. The Knit Pro tips are made from fabulous rainbow coloured birch wood with sharp, tapered tips and a hollow end into which you screw a cable length. They are surprisingly strong and being lightweight and made from wood are kind to your hands. Using this system of interchangeable needles has big advantages while you are knitting. No long needles to contend with - great for anyone sitting beside you! The weight of your knitting can be in your lap instead of on the ends of the needles.
